The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The artwork shows several signs of wear. The surface is a bit dirty, especially along the edges where quite some insect spots accumulated. On the front, the uniform white surface and particularly the semi glossy surface finish is disturbed by locally emerged scratches and wipes, some of them superficial, others deeper. All of them were caused by mechanical impact. Most of these damages are only visible in special (reflecting) light. Some of these areas show a glossy and polished surface where the subtle character and finish of the sprayed paint layer has been affected.
The lower edges show minor loss of the polyester top layer due to handling and mechanical damage. Some small irregularities within the surface are particles incorporated in the sprayed polyester paint layer.
The construction is stable and there are only locally some cracks in the polyester layer and one loose chip on the top just behind and between the front and underlying square. No old restoration campaigns are visible.
