Red-Black Diptych

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvases, stretchers and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvases are slack to the stretchers. There are canvas draws in the corners. The canvases are slightly wavy. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There is a soft indent visible in the upper right quadrant. There is some soft wear and rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is a small retouch of circa 1 x 2cm. visible in the lower left corner. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
