Sulamith

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places along the reverse edges to the underlying mount. The hinges are slightly visible on the recto in the upper corners. There are three folds across the entire width and one fold across the entire height of the sheet, coherent with the artist sending the work in a small envelope via the mail. There is some wear and tear to the upper horizontal edge, coherent with the artist's intention. There are handling marks in places. The work is discoloured. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
