Dame auf Kanapee (Auf dem Roten) (from the Frauengespräche series)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frame. The sheet is free floating. All elements appear to be present. The sheet undulates slightly. There is a fold to the upper right corner. There are surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artists' working process. Some of the impasto appears to have adhered to the glass of the frame. It is our recommendation that the work be unframed by a restorer. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
