The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The impasto is well preserved. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There is some soft yellowing in places, predominantly to the white passages. There are craquelures throughout, with some associated minor paint losses in places. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is are some retouches visible in places, predominantly in the upper area and in the lower left quadrant. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
