The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The work has yellowed. There is some soft staining in places. There are some stretcher craquelures to the extreme edges in places. The lower left corner is slightly wavy. There is a hairline crack to the upper right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
