The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There is some surface dust and dirt in places. There is a soft diagonal abrasion along the entire width of the work. There are surface irregularities in places inherent to the medium used by the artist. There are some signs of wear, with a few associated small chip losses. There is an indent in the upper left quadrant. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
