The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. There is some hairline drying craquelure in places. There are few minor paint losses in places, predominantly to the protruding parts and extreme edges. When examined under ultraviolet light, there are inpaintings visible in the lower corners, along the lower right edge and the lower horizontal edge.
