Porte Verte (Green Door)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is some hairline drying craquelure in places. There is some rubbing to the extreme edges and corners in places. There are few minor paint losses in places, predominantly along the extreme edges and corners. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
