Geo Wyex (born 1984 in New York City) is an artist and educator based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, primarily working in music, performance, sound, and poetry. Geo has performed at various venues including the New Museum, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, MoMA PS1, Anthology Film Archives, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Dutch National Opera, Triangle France, The Kitchen, Arsenic (Switzerland), Biquini Wax (Mexico City), LA MoCA, New York Live Arts, La MaMa Theatre, Human Resources, The Pyramid Club, and Joe’s Pub. They have also provided soundtracks for films such as "Happy Birthday Marsha!" (2018), "Atlantic is a Sea of Bones" (2017), "Salacia" (2019), and "The Personal Things" (2016), all directed by Tourmaline. Geo has collaborated with artists including A.K. Burns, Every Ocean Hughes, Will Rawls, Constantine Zavitsanos, Colin Self, and Sasha Wortzel.
Geo was a resident at the Rijksakademie in 2015-2016. They currently serve as an advisor at De Ateliers (Amsterdam) and teach theory to BFA students at ArtEZ University for the Arts in Arnhem, Netherlands.
Geo both performed in and curated the final edition of Kunstverein's annual Spring Performance Festival until its renewal.
