The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frame. The sheet undulates slightly. The sheet appears to be hinged in places along the reverse edges to the underlying mount. the vertical edges are deckled. There are some handling nicks in places. There are artist's tack/stample holes and along all of the extreme edges, some associated with yellowing. There are a few minor areas of pigment loss along the edges where the artist had pulled away masking tape to form a frame. There are some signs of wear and tear along the extreme edges in places. There are two minor abrasions in the lower area. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
