The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has been relined with a glue lining. In natural light no obvious damages or retouchings can be detected, except for a restored spider crack in the lower right quadrant. UV light reveals the aforementioned restoration, in addition to a fine pattern of inpainted craquelures in the lower left quadrant.
