The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. There are stretcher marks visible, most notably towards the right upper horizontel edge. The work is slightly discoloured. There are faint abrasions in places. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There are some pinpoint spots of foxing visible, most notably on the reverse. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
