Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Not examined out of the frame. The work is structurally sound. The lower right horizontal edge of the wooden box is splintered. There is surface dust and dirt in places. There are handling marks, staining and other small defects to the white board. The metal hinges of the wooden box are oxidized. There are some irregularities in places, coherent with the nature of the materials used. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
