The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The sheet has slightly yellowed and is slightly wavy. Some wear along the edges, presumably due to the passe-partout. The sheet is laid down in the reverse corners to the underlying mount. There is old tape along the reverse edges. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
