The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is a petruding nail in the upper left corner, with associated painted losses. There are some soft handling marks and other small defects to the wooden frame. There is a small hole, with associated circular craquelures in the lower right quadrant, presumably coherent with the found object.. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
