The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The impasto is well preserved. There are a few minute paint losses to the to the protruding impasto and extreme edges. There is some wear to the extreme edges.
There is a vertical hairline craquelure of circa 4.5cm. in the lower right area. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
