The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is a paint loss of circa 1.5 x 6cm. in the upper left corner, most likely studio related. There is a repaired tear of circa 4cm. in the lower right quadrant. There is a minor paint loss in the second figure from the left. There is a horizontal abrasion of circa 17cm. in the upper centre. There are stretcher marks along the horizontal edges. There is staining in places, predominantly in the lower left quadrant. The work is slightly unevenly discoloured. There are some pinpoint sized brown accretions in places.
