The work is structurally sound. There are nail heads visible along the edges, coherent with the construction the work. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There is wear with associated paint losses on the extreme edges and corners. There are craquelures in places. There are several paint losses in places, most notably two of circa 2.5 x 3cm. in the upper right quadrant. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
