The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. All elements appear to be present and adhere well to the underlying support. There is some staining and associated discolouration in places. There are some hairline drying craquelures towards the left edge. There are some handling marks in places. There is some rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
