There is a very soft, horizontal, linear inpainting visible with the naked eye across the entire width of the painting in the lower area. There is soft, diagonal, linear inpainting visible with the naked eye of circa 30cm. in the upper right quadrant. Under ultraviolet light, few old retouchings fluoresce along the edges in places, most notably in the lower left corner. There is soft staining in places. Signs of wear and usage to the frame, including abrasions; most notably there is a loss to the frame along the left lower horizontal edge. Frame is slightly loose in places.
