拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

(i) The work is structurally sound. Not examined out of the frame. The sheet undulates slightly. There are some handling nicks in places. There is some signs of wear and tear in places. There are handling marks and some signs of wear to the frame. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
(ii) The work is structurally sound. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There are some signs of wear to the extreme edges and corners. There is a linear indent of circa 19cm. in the lower centre area. There are some abrasions, minor losses and other surface irregularities in places. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
