The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There are some soft cracks in places, one in the upper area at the centre, one along the left edge at the centre and a linear one of circa 44cm. corresponding with the yellow passage in the lower left area. There are a few faint handling marks and accretions in places to the extreme edges. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
