The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work has been inspected inside the frame and under Perspex. It also comes with an original hand-carved Balinese frame by the artist.
Negligible undulation visible at the top part of the work, which does not affect the appreciation of the artwork. Otherwise, paper is in good condition with no tears or creases.
Pigment layer is in very good condition, colours are fresh and vibrant.
When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent.
Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
