The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. There is a minor historical loss to the lower center. A few minor misses to the extreme edges, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. When examined under ultra-violet light, no indication of any inpainting. It is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
