It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected inside the frame. Sides of the work cannot be checked due to framing status. The work is not lined. The canvas is taut and the paint layer is stable. The colour is vibrant. Tiny area of lifted collage of upper right. Slightly dusty surface. The collages undulate in places due to the artist’s working method. A few small accretions are visible in places. Minor fibre thread accretions scatter. Minor wears and slight abrasions to the corners and edges. Extremely minor pinpoint paint loss chips scatter very occasionally on paint surface and edges. Visible only upon close inspection, hairline cracks and craquelures scatter on the edges and paint surface. Minor and stable crushed impasto tips could be observed only upon very close inspection, occasionally associated with pinpoint paint losses. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows.
