It is in our opinion that the work is in overall fair condition. The canvas is undulated and slightly slacked. Minor paint chips and paint losses are occasional to the heavy impasto areas, most notably to the lower left and measuring ca. 1.7 cm. Drying cracks are observed intermittently to the work, which are natural to the aging process of the artist's chose medium and do not affect the overall appreciation of the work. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent signs of inpainting show.
