Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is our opinion that the work is in good condition. The work was inspected within its frame, the sides and the reverse thus could not be fully inspected. There is a light layer of surface dust. Negligible abrasions and dirt marks are occasional towards the edges of the work. Faint water stains are observed across the work, visible only under raking light. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting shows.
