Lot Essay

“Art is a way to think extremely differently and to recognize the appearance as a fundamentally insufficient object. My work is a tool for me to reach out to what is not opened and what is not easy to approach. I imagine intangibility. I dream about unpredictability. I paint invisibility. I try to turn diverse shapes, colors and forms of internal illusions, which are created when I close my eyes and take a quick glance at a light, into physical visual imageries.” – Kwon Hyun-Jin
