The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition. The work was inspected within its frame, the sides thus could not be checked. The canvas is taut and the paint layer is stable. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent signs of inpainting show.
