Painting Relief

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in good condition. The work was inspected inside the frame. Sides of the work cannot be checked due to framing status. All the below issues are only visible upon very close inspection and does not affect the overall appreciation of the painting. Minor wear and rubbing to corner-tips and infrequently to turning edges. Upon very close inspection, there are scattered stable and minor signs of craquelures and cracks, occasionally associated with pinpoint paint losses. Pinpoint faint dirt dots on the left and lower part. Light abrasion on the right. Several short lines of abrasion on the left and upper side of the aluminium. Very occasionally scattered pinpoint accretion dots and faint pinpoint dirt marks. When examined under the UV light, there are scattered restoration marks.
