The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Une trace verticale de frottement est visible le long du bord droit. Des traces de coulure, probablement dues à la méthode de travail de l'artiste, sont visibles dans le quart inférieur droit. Quelques petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. A linear vertical rubbing is visible along the right edge. There are drips, probably due to the artist's working method, to the lower right quadrant. A few small accretions are visible in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
