The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Quelques accrétions superficielles sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, dont trois plus visibles dans le quart inférieur droit. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. Minor rubbing is visible in places along the edges. A few superficial accretions are in places to the surface, counting three more visible to the lower right quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
