The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques écaillages sont visibles principalement à la périphérie de l’œuvre; certains plus importants sont visibles dans le quart supérieur gauche. Présence d’une très légère trace de frottement dans l’angle supérieur gauche. Quelques petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Les irrégularités de surface telles que les coulures et l’éclat le long du bord inférieur au centre, sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail et au support choisi par l’artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent.

This work is sold framed. The surface is dirty and dusty. Minor flaking is visible mostly to the periphery of the work; some more important are visible to the upper left quadrant. Minor rubbing is visible to the upper left corner. There are small pinpoint accretions in places to the surface. The irregularities to the surface such as the drips and the chip along the lower edge, to the center, are inherent to the artist working method and to the medium chosen by the artist. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
