The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers par des charnières le long des bords. Les bords sont irréguliers. Le papier a légèrement jauni. Un arrachage de papier est visible le long du bord supérieur, vers la partie gauche. Présence de points de piqûres et d'accrétions par endroits sur la surface. De fines cassures du papier sont visibles par endroits, principalement à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Un très petit arrachage est visible au centre de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The edges are irregular. The sheet has slightly yellowed. A tear of the paper is visible along the upper edge, to the left part. A few points of foxing and accretions are visible in places to the surface. A few fine creases of the paper are visible mostly to the periphery of the work. A fine small paper snags is visible to the center of the composition. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
