The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Graphite sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières à deux endroits sur le bord supérieur. Légère décoloration de la feuille, principalement le long des bords. La feuille provient d'un carnet à dessins comme en témoignent trois petits enfoncements à l’extrémité du bord gauche. Quelques légères piqûres par endroits. Le graphite est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.

Graphite on paper. Hinged to the mount in two places at the upper reverse sheet edge. Some pale discoloration mainly along the extreme sheet edges. The sheet stems from the artist's sketchbook as visible from the three minor dents at the extreme left sheet edge. A few pale spots of foxing in places. The pencil is strong throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
