The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Présence de très légères traces de frottement et craquelures de séchage par endroits, principalement le long des bords. Quelques très légères accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. Minor rubbing and slight drying cracks are in places, mostly along the edges. There are few accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the forgoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
