Terracotta. Some pale surface dirt. One or two minute pale stains on the sitter’s head. A few minute craquelures in places mainly at the junction between the female body and her hair, and between the leg and the veil. A few minute traces of red color on her bust, probably dating from the artist’s studio. The usual wears and tears in places, inherent with age and handlings.
