The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Aquarelle et graphite sur papier monté sur isorel. La feuille provient d'un carnet à dessins comme en témoignent le bord gauche perforé et les coins supérieur et inférieur droits arrondis. Les coins supérieurs et inférieurs gauches sont manquants. La feuille est légèrement insolée associée à quelques piqûres par endroits, principalement le long du bord droit. Un minuscule trou vers le quart inférieur gauche. Une trace de crayon au centre des bords supérieur et inférieur, datant probablement de l’époque du montage.

Watercolour and pencil on paper mounted on masonite. The sheet stems from the artist's sketchbook, as visible from the perforated left edge and from the rounded upper right and lower right corners. The upper left and lower left corners are missing. The sheet is slightly light-stained with a very few associated spots of foxing, mainly along the right edge. One pinpoint hole towards the lower left quadrant. A pencil trace at the center of the upper and lower edges, probably dating from the time of the mounting.
