The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Présence de craquelures de séchage, pour certaines légèrement soulevées et accompagnées de points de manques, par endroits sur la surface, principalement dans les empâtements blancs. De très légères griffures, dues à la méthode de travail de l'artiste, sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Quelques légères accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. A few drying cracks, for some slightly lifted and associated to medium losses, are visible in places to the surface, mostly to white impastos. A few very slight scratches, due to the artist's working method, are visible in places to the surface, mostly to the periphery of the work. There are a few slight accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
