Variazioni

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le pagine del libro presentano: margini irregolari; un alone giallo in corrispondenza delle prime e ultime pagine.
La copertina presenta: puntini di ingiallimento lungo i margini orizzontali; leggere tracce di sporco superficiale; una piega centrale della carta in corrispondenza della costa del libro; alcune piccole mancanze della foglia d'oro al centro del margine superiore.
Le due grafiche interne presentano: leggere tracce di sporco superficiale. Abrasioni lungo il margine sinistro e due piccoli fori in corrispondenza dell'angolo superiore destro e inferiore sinistro della seconda grafica.
Tenuto conto di quanto sopra, è nostra opinione che le opere siano in condizioni di conservazione buone.

The works are in good and stable conditions.
The book sheets show: irregular edges; a yellow halo corresponding to the first and last pages.
The cover shows: foxing along the horizontal edges; light superficial accretion; a central fold of the paper corresponding to the book spine; some small losses of the golden leaf to the centre of the upper edge.
The two prints show: light superficial accretion. Abrasions along the left edge and two small holes corresponding to the upper right and lower left corners of the second print.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the works appear to be in generally good conditions.
