Con la parola "bricolages", l'inseparabile amico Edoardo Sanguineti definisce quelle creazioni dove, a partire dagli anni Sessanta, tornando ad attingere in parte dai ricordi della sua infanzia, in parte semplicemente dal quotidiano, l'artista inserisce su fondi monocromi, a volte color panna, a volte neri perché trattati con il catrame, oggetti delle più disparate nature, una rassegna di "object trouvé". Il termine bricolages è tratto dall'opera 'Pensiero Selvaggio' di Levis Strauss dove si discorre di "poesia del bricolage" come di un parlare "non soltanto delle cose, ma anche mediante la cose". Questa definizione sembra confarsi perfettamente alle nuove aggregazioni di elementi di Carol Rama.

Edoardo Sanguineti, inseparable friend, defines with the term "bricolages" those creations where the artist, returning to draw partly from the memories of her childhood, partly from simple everyday life, inserts on monochrome backgrounds, sometimes cream-coloured, sometimes black because treated with tar, objects of the most disparate natures, a review of "object trouvé". The term bricolages is taken from the work 'Wild Thought' by Levis Strauss where he discusses the "poetry of bricolage" as meaning speaking "not only of things, but also through things". This definition seems to fit perfectly with Carol Rama's new aggregations of elements.
