The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in good and stable condition.
Light superficial accretion in places.
Some small paint losses, scratches and abrasions along the edges, especially corresponding to the lower right corner.
Golden residues along the left edge.
When examined under ultraviolet light, there is indication of inpainting along the edges and to the upper right corner.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
