The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in good and stable condition.

Some superficial abrasions with corresponding small losses to the base, the major of which on the reverse to the centre.
Hairline scratches to the light blue areas along the mouth and to the base.
When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of inpainting.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
