The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Il foglio è ingiallito, specialmente lungo i margini, e presenta leggere tracce di sporco superficiale.
Alcune abrasioni superficiali e una caduta di colore al centro del margine sinistro.
Craquelure con corrispondenti puntiformi cadute di colore nei quadranti superiore e inferiore a destra.
Tenuto conto di quanto sopra, è nostra opinione che l’opera sia in condizioni di conservazione buone.

The work is in good and stable condition, not lined. The paper adheres well to the underlying support.
The sheet has yellowed, especially along the edges, and shows light superficial accretion in places.
Some superficial abrasions and a paint loss to the centre of the left edge.
Drying cracks with corresponding pinpoint paint losses to the upper and lower right quadrants.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
