The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in good condition. Fox and mould stains are scattered on the surface, clustered on the left side and along the edges. Soft creases are scattered intermittently on the surface, which is presumably consistent with the artist's chosen medium and working method. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
