The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected within its frame and acrylic cover, its reverse and sides thus could not be checked. Negligible tension cracks are occasional to the extreme edges of the work, visible only upon very close inspection with raking light. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting was shown.
