The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Faint folding lines are scattered intermittently across the canvas, which is presumably studio related. Negligible cracks along the extreme edges of the work, visible only upon close inspection. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting was shown.
