The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is inspected within its frame, thus its sides could not be checked, but the reverse is visible. Negligible rubbing marks to the extreme edges of the work. Drying cracks and craquelures occasionally scattered on the heavy impasto, mainly on the upper side of the work. There is a slight layer of dust present. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching can be seen.
