The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. Wear with a few losses and areas of lifting is scattered to the exterior of the wooden box. Faint fingerprints to the interior of the wooden box. Two pinpoint accretions, one tiny red accretion below the left thigh and another one behind the right leg. Minor area of accretion to the bottom and the right knee of the sculpture. Minor abrasion to the back and lower left of the lower body. Faint tension craquelures to the edge of the upper left cheek. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent signs of retouching can be seen.
